Sophie & Scarecrow from Howl's Moving Castle

If you can't tell from the image itself, this is one of Diffy's. Diffy actually asked for young Sophie, but Yamashita said he prefered to draw old Sophie. I find that interesting and wonder exactly why. He also added the scarecrow. I'm impressed by the sense of roundness he gives the elements of the scarecrow, so easily with a few lines and a relatively thick marker.
Yamashita Akihiko is a really friendly guy and a tremendous artist. I highly recommend meeting him should he come to a convention near you.
