Mishima Reika from RahXephon

I cosplayed as Mishima Reika back at AX 2002, so of course I wanted a sketch of her. I didn't think it would be an original sketch from the character designer!
I really like Mishima's design. There's something about the big gold bow and the hard-to-pull-off dress. I guess she's also got that ethereal charm. Plus, she has nice hair. Kanno said at his panel that Mishima was the character design that the staff fought the most over, so she was probably the toughest to do.
The first time I saw the Kanno sketches available, this was the one on top, so it was the very first one I saw. He had several from RahXephon and therefore several of Mishima. I looked through them all, there were a few that showed off her bow better, but all in all, this one was love at first site. There's just something about the expression that really draws me in.
